This is a tough movie but it has its redeeming factors. Well, it has one redeeming
factor, but you’ll have to listen to find out what! Ever wonder about the Hays Code
and/or the history of the weirdly enduring spot in pop culture that this story has?
(It’s based on a 1934 play, which is based on a book, which is based on a real trial,
oh my!) Tune in to learn some lesbian history and our hosts’ take on it, but be
warned, this is a rough story.
